Description

A general or all purpose grounding cord with standard 3-prong NEMA 5-15P plug attached. This cord is commonly used to ground metal objects, for testing purposes for a ground lead, and many other uses where you wish to connect something to the electrical system ground found in an outlet. It is always recommended to test an outlet with an outlet tester to ensure the outlet is properly grounded.

High quality 16 gauge copper conductor - don't settle for smaller conductors with tiny strands of wire that break. We designed this cord with a strong 16 gauge copper conductor so it will hold up and provide a reliable ground.

There is only one conductor - earth ground - connected to the "ground" (round prong) on the plug. The "hot" and "neutral" are not connected to anything - they are only there to help hold the plug into an outlet. 8 feet long. No "end" on the ground cord conductor.

Available in black or white. Conveniently labeled "ElectraHealth.com" on one side and "Earth Ground" on the other so that it is easily known what the cord is.
