Normal earbud headphones for music and headsets for talking have 2 major flaws: they have a highly-conductive metal wire that goes all the way up to your head, and they have a speaker coil that goes practically into your ear. The wire acts as an antenna for cell phones and other EMF (things you plug it into, devices/wiring you are near, or even signals in the air). The speaker coil is also very problematic for sensitive individuals, as the speaker coil generates magnetic fields and is in such close proximity to the sensitive, complex, and intricate hearing-related nerve system around your ear.

Great Headphones!
I've had echo problems with other 'low emf' brands, but these are great! Same quality as standard headphones, but without the RF levels. This is the only pair of headphones I use now.

How can I use these with newer iphones? What type of adapter would I need for the connection that would not impede the ability of the product to lower radiation?

You need to purchase a "Lightning to 3.5 mm Headphone Jack Adapter" directly from Apple. They are $9.00 and include free shipping.

A:
Apple makes adapters for their phones to provide a 3.5mm headset jack. That is the type you need - 3.5mm headset. The adapters will NOT impede the function of the headset - so you are good to use it :)
