Mobile phones have been called “The Cigarettes of 21st Century”. It took more than 150 years to prove that smoking tobacco is injurious to health. Are we waiting for more conclusive data than we already have on the harmful effects of radiation?
San Antonio’s municipal utility says smart meters are a boon to the city and customers. Opponents say the devices are a boondoggle. “While utilities promise the ‘smart grid’ will solve climate change, no independent evidence of energy savings have been demonstrated,” says Josh Hart, director of the California-based group Stop Smart Meters.
Who needs to rub two sticks together to build a fire? I just use a smart meter!

This study aimed to determine the association of exposure to radio frequency electromagnetic field radiation (RF-EMFR) generated by mobile phone base stations with glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c) and occurrence of type 2 diabetes mellitus.

Anyone who says there are absolutely no possible health effects of Wi-Fi, cell phones, and other types of wireless networks is simply putting their head in the sand. How can anyone say "No, not at all, it's not possible," when research raises concerns to the contrary?
