Construction on giant cell towers needed to make Los Angeles County’s emergency communication system work has been halted until radiation concerns can be addressed.  Dozens of firefighters came to the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors meeting Tuesday to let them know they do not want cell towers where they work.

On page seven of the Lloyds insurance policy, it explicitly excludes coverage for "Electromagnetic fields: directly or indirectly arising out of, resulting from or contributed to by electromagnetic fields, electromagnetic radiation, electromagnetism, radio waves, or noise." This exclusion tells us that the expert risk assessors at Lloyds have determined that electromagnetic fields are a serious liability risk to the people and organizations they insure.

Reuben Lattimore opted out of getting a smart electricity meter installed at his Pikesville home last year, fearing the potential health affects of radiation from the device. Now, Baltimore Gas and Electric Co. wants to install another device at his home that raises the same concerns.

This past week has been one of the worst ever for “smart meters” in terms of critical news reporting and negative revelations about these devices.  Clearly, things are quickly spiraling out of control worldwide in terms of anybody believing that the smart meters are anything more than a giant and costly albatross hanging around the necks of consumers.

The Public Service Company of Oklahoma will now allow customers to opt out of having a so-called "smart meter" on their homes, at least temporarily.

It is time we pay attention to the health hazards of radiation emitted by everyday gadgets, not just from mobile phones!

Real-life "smart appliances" are already out there. An unlabeled smart appliance - a Samsung Refrigerator - was dumping out the radiation all the time - despite there being no smart meter or WiFi router to connect to. It's constant needless bombardment - but easily disabled!
