DNA Filters

DNA stands for "Dissipative Noise Attenuation" - a newer technique that uses electronic circuitry to "pull in" EMI or dirty electricity and convert it to tiny micro amounts of heat.  Rather than converting to other signals that remain on the wires, the DNA line filters get rid of it for good.  No filter is perfect or 100% effective, but this new technique is becoming more and more popular.

The most popular type of filter is the parallel filter.  Parallel filters such as the PxDNA and RxDNA lines of filters hook into the electricity by "tapping in."  This just means they plug in like a regular device would, or hook up to an already-existing line.  They help clean up microsurge electrical pollution or EMI/dirty electricity on the line.

Also known as pass-through filters, in-line filters are larger and heavier and actually contain a very large coil of wire.  They are installed in series as opposed to parallel.  This means electricity used by other devices actually flows through the filter.  The filter in essence becomes a block or a wall which prohibits dirty electricity from flowing through it - isolating frequencies on each side from the other to some extent.
