Our newest and favorite low-emission low-emf WiFi Router. While we always encourage the use of wired networks as much as absolutely possible, we realize that many people have gotten so used to WiFi that they need a stepping-stone to transition to wired. We also realize that wired people occasionally need some WiFi connectivity. So, we encourage the reduction of wireless usage as much as possible.

I want to buy a router that I can disable the wifi on, and only connect with an ethernet cord. I don't know which of the two options I need and also can this be used with the internet providers in Ontario Canada as well as Lugo, Spain? I am living part time in each of those places.

A:
The current Asus Low-Emissions Router does not have a WiFi on/off physical button. The WiFi can be turned on/off through the admin interface. You could go with the wired router we have, and then use this WiFi router in access point mode. Then your wired router will be on 24/7 and providing connection for wired devices. Then you can use the power cord for the WiFi router (we don't recommend using the power buttons, as they wear out due to Asus' planned obsolescence).
The router should work fine all over the world.

Hi! We LOVE our electrahealth router that we bought about 10 years ago. We think it might be bad now. Is there a way to check? Or if we buy a new one and it wasn’t the router, is it returnable?
